The tank in its final resting place, hopefully never to have to be moved again. Actually I never will move it again.

Tank from back inside fishroom as well as sump and overflow.

Sump can hold 120 gallons. When running it will have approx 75 gallons going through it. External overflow holds approx 27 gallons.

Inside the fishroom before the tank was put on the stand.

More pics to follow.

Awesome looking tank! for an inwall I think the black on 3 sides will be great for viewing...might make maintenance a bit tougher not being able to see in the back but well worth it.

Very cool of the builder to let you in there to do that. Is it a big builder or a small/custom guy?

Glad to hear you'll do some claddin'. Might as well because like you said the area under there is pretty useless.

It is a small custom builder and yes they are somewhat accommodating. Initially though, we were told that we could have the tank in a lot earlier but then went back on that. Overall they are working with us and considering they have never done anything like this before, things have went fairly smootly. As well, you are absolutely right about maintenance being difficult with the black sides. I was back and forth on it, but being that it is in wall, I also think it will look sharp. At least I will have front access from the display side which should make things a little easier.

Large tanks are nice, but a real battle to install. Glad to see you got er in in one piece. Nice looking tank.

Loving the build so far! Looks to be a really awesome project. As a nano owner I'm sitting here with a little drip of drool out of the corner of my mouth envisioning all the things that could be done with a massive in-wall display.

As I'm travelling, it also makes me miss my tank a whole lot!

Looking forward to the progress - what are your plans for equipment and stocking?
