RO/DI filter advice.

Hello, I am planning on starting up a 75 gallon tank. I had done tests for our tap water (well water) and hopefully got as much info as I need to select a good filter. So if anyone has insight on what filter to get and where to get it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your TDS of 709 is quite high, but I guess for well water it is probably average.
I would suggest you get a RO filter with a DI as well.
What is the pressure in your pipes? If it is below 60 psi, then a booster pump would be needed otherwise the RO/DI would not filter properly.

Well water is a bit of a nightmare. I have a booster pump before the membrane, TDS of around 650-760 (depends on the day), whole house water softener. The membrane knocks it down to ~15-20 ppm and I use DI for the rest. I burn through DI unbelievably fast and membranes don't have an extraordinarily long lifespan.

I have found for me (60 gallons total water volume) it is the most economical to buy RO water from the store for the initial fill up of the tank and do water changes, and top up with my own home-made RO/DI (since I've got the system anyways and use it for drinking water)

I'm lucky in that there's a good place in town that produces 0ppm water @ about $4/18litre jug
