It was necessary. Even if I could have gotten it out in one piece It wasn't worth it to me to have to round up six/eight people to try and get it up the stairs and out the front door without damaging my freshly painted walls and brand new walnut floors. This tank was extremly over built and very heavy.

The way I did it it took 12 buckets and they are sitting in the back of my truck right now, I did it myself and most importantly I did it without hurting anyone or damaging anything.

I love the photos...my Blackberry just doesn't do them justice! Admit it, it was fun right?!

I love all the books! Those shelves are just begging for more books!

I have to admit it was a little fun, I was VERY surprised at how hard I had to hit to get it to break.

The new tank could be here as early as this weekend. It will be nice to move forward again.

I picked up a new 75 gallon tank to build the sump. I'm going to build it based on one from Melev's site.

Usually I clean all my equipment in the sink in the main floor laundry room, including the skimmer cup. My wife has informed me I have cleaned my last skimmer cup upstairs, so I have been busy installing some cabinets and a sink in the storage room in the basement.

Hello parker. i have enjoyed reading your post's along this thread and have even showed my wife some of the trials you have had to endure. I would like you to know that those complications that you have gone through has made my upgrade from a 90 to a 225 easyer to bear. I know in this hobby we must a one point an time just, " Pull our shirt down - lift our chin and carry on" and i do believe it's these hard times that make the good ones so much better.. So again thank you kindly for the thread and God bless you and yours..
cheers JohnCody

Thanks, it's nice to know people are interested enough to follow along and I'm not talking to myself.

Nope not talking to yourself at all... we're just waiting for something with water in it! Just kidding, I'm sure you're just as anxious as we are.
