Default FS/ FT Lunare Wrasse (Edmonton)

this guy is 6" - he is super nice and in perfect shape. An active tank would be best for him.

He gets along well with all the other tank-mates even the shrimps I have...

Deal fell through!

$40

too fast to take a pic but is way nicer than the pic below!

Thanks

I had one for a while that got along with everything for quite awhile (at least 4 months)...Although every few months I would notice that 'something' had eaten one of my corals... and then one day I put a peppermint shrimp in and my lunare wrasse ate it within minutes and then moved on to my cleaner shrimp that he never even looked at previously...

Since getting rid of him I have had no eaten corals...So my personal experience (for what its worth) is to be wary...

Beautiful fish with great personalities tho...Wish I hadn't had to get rid of mine.

Not safe with inverts but usually fine with corals. I would say no less then a 90g. They also tend to be mean to other fish shaped like them, smaller wrasses and blennies.

He is in with everything that you mentioned he is not good with and has never harmed any of the above...

He lives with a coral banded shrimp, cleaner shrimp, starfish, urchins, and a chorus wrasse...

if it was not for wanting to lighten up my bio load - I would never let him go - I love the color he adds to my aquarium and the green with pink through his body is amazing!

You got lucky then, mine and my Steve's sister's kill shrimp, other wrasses, and blennies. I wonder, were the shrimp and other wrasse in the tank before the lunare? Maybe if the others are in the tank 1st a lunare will leave them alone.

Either way they are a very beautiful fish and make a nice colourful addition. I love the one I have.
