Default New mp40

Looks like ecotech is finally dealing with there noise issue in the pumps in this pic the controller says quiet drive. Never had a real noise issue with my mp40 but all 3 of my mp10's were crazy loud at some point in there life now all dead from regular use. Looks nice but not gonna change my mind too much money invested in pumps that just don't last.

I'm sure it's less of a dealing with a noise issue product. I think its more of new product to deal with the competition they finally got.

They do look slick in black tho, both of my used mp10's were noisy until I purchased new ceramic shafts and now they run much quieter. The shafts are easily cracked if dropped or jammed and just a tiny hairline crack can cause tons of noise. I spoke to an Ecotech rep who advised me to never run the pumps without the filter pads, which I guess safe guards the pumps more, but who really wants to clean those out all the time.
