Saw it yesterday on CBC the people were feeding the sea lion prior to her being pulled in and as far as I'm concerned they were at fault for enticing a wild animal in even if it was meant innocently.

Even though there were several signs stating not to feed the sea life now there are twice as many signs

As scary as it was people need to understand it's a wild animal not a tame pet I see it all the time in Jasper and Banff people hand feeding grizzlies, black bears and elk then the uproar is there when an animal attacks.

Watched a video of some tourists in China. In the middle of a tiger reserve, one woman gets out to walk around to the other side of the car to talk or berate her husband. Before you can say, "Look out dummy, there's a tiger about to eat your @ss!", a huge tiger leaps on the woman and drags her away. Her husband chases after the tiger and his wife, then her mother chases as well, but somehow, off-camera, its the mother who gets killed.

That's nothing.... some guy in China in February tried to save a few bucks by not buying tickets to the zoo and tried to go thru the tiger pen.
