Default when shrimp molt

my question is ...when a coral banded shrimp molts do the front big claws come of with the rest or did my coral banded kick the bucket.....thanks

When shrimp molt, their entire exoskeleton is molted including the claws. they hide for a while after they have molted until their new exoskeleton hardens so you might not see it right away. The molts usually look like they have no organs inside and are just the 'shell'.

It's also possible for moulting mistakes to occur.
I lost a bamboo shrimp (FW species) due to a bad moult. He lost his front legs and couldn't feed anymore. Never recovered.
