Default Zoas becoming "pointy"?

In the last few week a small colony of Zoas have started to become pointy, the middles of the Zoas rising and the skirts falling downward. In the last few days have have noticed some on the other Zoas doing the same. Any ideas or suggestions what may be causing this?

I have had this happen and over time the affected polyps have returned to normal. i currently still have a few sunny d's doing this. has only ever happened to my sunny d's and god of wars strangely. and these are both on the same rock/area.

i'm unsure why it happens sorry. mine are much more umbrella shaped than what you show. yours are only slightly curved from what i can see.

Yes the first picture is the first colony that was affected. They have shrunk a great deal from what they were originally.

They look to me like they're stretching for light. Some need more then others. I had a colony doing the same thing. Moved them up and now they're fine.
