You'll need a lot bigger than 55g

I would not suggest getting a shark in a 55g unless you plan on making shark fin soup, for breeding fishes you may try a pair of clowns.

The Big Al's stores have sharks in a 2000g tank. A lot of people think that a two thousand gallon tank is way to small for a shark, personally anything less then that would be cruel. In a 55g a shark would outgrow it in a couple of months, and I mean literally, a shark will become longer then a 55g in a matter of months.
