So whats the purpose of using low-e glass on the front pane?

maybe it was a typo and he mean low-fe,

fe as in iron?

Then why only on the front? Plus it won't help at all in that sense as it reflects radiant heat only.

I'm thinking he meant low iron glass.

yes yes...... this was a typo.........Im in the trades........my brain was saying low iron but my fingers said low E......then my dumbass brain missed it after the fact.....I would go back and edit it but......

Sounds like your in my boat! I just got my stand today from Kevin but the tank & sump are up in edmonton, oh well the joys of keeping tanks right?

Well that's what happens when one guy builds 90% of the custom tanks commissioned in Calgary.....he is back logged for months so we have to go elsewhere for tanks....
