From what I've been reading on ReefCentral, heat hasn't been an issue. I woiuldn't be " replacing" anything, I'd be buying one of these instead of buying a dual bulb 36" t5ho, which would be close to $200 after getting bubls .
Seems like a decent alternative . Like I mentioned earlier, just a little concerned with how to mount / hang it and whether to go all blue or 50/50

the color spectrum depends on what other lights you are running. If your running 10,000-14,000k mh then you wouldnt need the white or 50/50 you would go with all blue. For me i want the pop that blue led's cause. Its not the same as t5 ot mh it make certain corals almost glow. I am wondering if i can mount on or two of these on my t5 fixture. It seems possible but i would hate to buy one just to find out i can't mount it.

I will be mounting mine inside a t5 fixture when they arrive (hopefully this week). The short version of what I will be doing is that it's a tek 4 bulb 36" t5 fixture. I plan on replacing 2 of the 36" t5 bulbs with 2 24" reefbrites. This should give me that nice shimmer and definition that point source lighting gives, and the remaining 2 t5s I will use to tweak the overall colour in the tank to exactly what I want.

I'll try to do up a full review for you guys when they arrive

I would love to see some pictures. But what i am wondering is why not keep all 4t5 bulbs going and attach two reefbrite on the side of the fixture?

Any luck geting your new LED's up yet ?
I'm still so torn whether to order a 24", 36" or just go with a 2 bulb T5 to supplement
