Default Skimmer pump question

I have RO NWB110 skimmer that has the original OTP 1000GT Skimmer Pump the pump specs are as follows: Max Flow: 125gph / Max Air: 180L/H, 6.3SCFH

Would my skimmer perform better by upgrading it to the aquatrance 1000 skimmer pump with the following spec: Max Flow: 92gph / Max Air: 420L/H, 15SCFH

Now the OTP has a higher flow rate of 125GPH compared to the aquatrance but the aquatrance seems to have way higher air flow. Not really sure if that compensates as an upgrade or not??

Looks like I can pick up the aquatrance for around $65 if it is in fact an upgrade. The current skimmer pump is still performing just fine in terms of operation.

I know there is a bubble blaster hy1000 that looks to be an upgrade in both categories but that pump ends up costing more then i actually paid for this skimmer used and if i were to go that route i could probably find a better used skimmer for the same or slightly more money.
