Default Help identifying these purple and orange things (algae, sponge..mushroom??)

I have a lot of these little things growing in my tank. They are purplish with orange dots. The largest ones are the size of a smarty.

My water parameters are all within the normal ranges other than my ph which has been a little low. Nitrate 0, Phos 0, nitrite 0, ammonia 0 but was up to 25 2 weeks ago after my eel died when we were on holidays and it decomped a little in the water. I got it out in one piece though and levels are back to zero after 3 water changes.

Anyways, here are a few crappy iPhone pics. Hopefully they are good enough for a ID.

THANKS GUYS!

You have so many. Take one out and dissect it.
Are they hard, soft, liquid inside?

So, I took one out a dissected it. It was pretty stuck to the power head but when I gave it a good tug it came right off. When I cut into it, it was just kinda full of snot. Haha. It was just clear thin gelatinous grossness. I don't think that helped at all with my ID though.

Anyone else have any other ideas. Since they all kind of showed up within a week or so, I'm worried they're something harmful.

Thanks again.
