It was hard to get a good focus on that guy. Had to switch to manual and just wait for his swaying to stop.

Great pics, I have the D800 and D700 in FF
Have the 105mm VR, the old 105mm and 60mm micro.
Actually I have 15 Nikkor premimum lens
Have 2 D200's and Light and Motion and Sea & Sea underwater housings.

I'm upgrading my housing to the Sea&Sea D800 housing and 2 - Sea&Sea YS-D1 Strobes in the next couple of months.

Try scubadiving in open water, hovering in current or surge, trying to photographer a critter in macro mode

Once you get those strobes you'll be able to shoot stopped down a little so you can get the DoF you need to give you a little leeway in movement.

I also have the D200 and D700. My 200 has a weird issue with the sensor though and isn't reliable anymore. We bought an ikelite housing for my wives Canon S95 but damned if I could take a decent shot in Hawaii! I was more concerned with the above sea level shooting haahaa!

I'd love to see some of your shots scubadawg. Do you have a link to a gallery?

Cheers,
Scott
