Default What's this little thing in my nano tank?

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me identify what this is?
And if I should remove it? (And advice to remove it if needed)

Thanks!

That is a bristle worm. They are basically part of your clean up crew and wouldn't worry about it unless you have tons of them. Also be careful as they have a nasty sting if you touch them with your hands. I just leave mine in the tank until they get really big then i take them out with a worm trap.

Thanks! Glad that it's not something harmful. Though they are unsightly...

Bristle worm....excellent CUC I am not a fan of them but have somewhat learned to live with them.

Do not handle these worms without proper protection they are like porcupines their bristles do detach and sting if you do perchance get the bristles attached to you immerse affected area in vinegar the bristles will dissolve within a minute or so
