Default What are you controlling with your Apex?

Just installed my Apex over the past few days, got wireless and Internet access running and have fallen in love for the first time in years.

I am interested in what others are using their Apex to control.

So far I have:

Lights and light fan on a timer.

pH probe to control the solenoid feeding CO2 to my calcium reactor.

Heater controlled by the temperature probe (heater is set 2 degrees above the controller's heat setting for redundancy).

I am working on installing a float switch to shut off the skimmer, then I can be more aggressive about tuning my skimmer without worrying about it overflowing.

Is there anybody running the controller for other or non-standard uses, I would like to hear about other ideas to make the most of this equipment.

Default

I control my fans based on temp.
I set my ATO on an alternating schedule from my Kalkwasser.
My kalk is tied to the Ph probe. My calc reactor is also tied to Ph.
I have a 1/4" John Guest solenoid that opens the ro/do for a couple of hours each day.
I put my power heads and return pumps on a feed cycle.

Basically every device in my system is on an outlet. It makes it really easy to shut things off for maintenance.
