I'm going to jump in here before the onslaught arrives. I wouldn't recommend a tang of any sort in a tank that size.

Try a lemon peel angel instead . They are fun and similar color yellow.
Tang will become aggressive very quick in that size and not to mention other issues.

I wouldn't add any angel to a tank with corals in it.... Unless you wonna watch them get eaten.

I had one for 3 years never touched a single coral. Now have flame angel no problem either.

But I do understand where u r coming from. They do tend to eat corals. I just got lackey both times.

I have a flame. A blue koran angelfish. Same look as a emp angel. No issues at all with mine..


and yes a 40 gal is way too small for a yellow tang..

Ok no yellow tang. Thought just a 2 inch small one would be good but clearly people don't think so. Thanks everyone
