Default Hermit Crab Longivity?

I bought some hermit crabs approx 8 years ago and none since. I still have one left so it must be around 8 years old!

It didn't move at all for a few days so I thought it finally died, but it started moving again so it must have just been sleeping. So, I name it Monty (after Monty Python)

In the wild diving I've seen them huge like bigger than a dinner plate so I'm assuming they keep growing and living as long as environment will let them
