A little part in the back of my mind had always wondered if the differences I see in my tank compared to some T5 tanks was because of a the nutrient regime, but if you've got two frags of the same species, one under T5s, one under LEDs, but sharing the exact same water and you're seeing those kinds of differences... you're making a pretty compelling case for T5s lol.
no two different tanks not sharing water at all.

thats actually part my issue , display has fish and a regular source of pollution while the frag tank stays low nutrients and doesnt get any pollution added so i believe its a natural low nutrient without the use of carbon source

titus i agree growth is good under the leds but the colors make me sick lol:P

same here ive spoken to a few peeps and they have them and love them , these poeple are also poeple who have led experience so i trust their judgemnent. price is steep and thats whats stopping me at this point plus the fact if i get a 24" ati im stuck with 24"

lots of good review on rc for the ati's

i havent seen one in person or used one but its peaked my interest.

leds are def good but its hard to get a color i like with my pros

Yah the number one reason I went with LEDs was the level on controllability, it looks like you get all that and a piece of cake with the ATIs. I've had issues with colour as well, I find the LEDs are really difficult for some corals to adapt to, and I've watched in sadness as the metallic sheen of some corals slowly fades to a dull base colour in my tank. I know it's not just how the lights make the colours appear to me, because the coral will have the really psychedelic, metallic look that made me want to buy it in the first place for the first 5-7 days in my tank, but something in the radions is not encouraging the coral to keep producing that colour and it always fades over time. The worst was a blue tipped, green bodied stag acro. When I got it (previously grown in a T5 tank), the green body looked like metallic car paint, now it's just a dull green.

On the other hand, I have a purple bonsai valida that went insane under the LEDs, it almost hurts to look at it it glows so brightly.

Perhaps a hybrid fixture will create the best of both.
