Default Watchman

Question; I have and have had two watchmen gobys for a couple of years now in a 220g reef tank. Two days ago one of them turned white. Good activity still hangin with his shrimp buddy. Anybody?

I read that it’s sometimes due to a change to the female sex. Maybe because you have a pair? Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see tgem with eggs!

Mine was the opposite. He was a pale beige-y grey colour but changed to bright yellow (as JL told me he would)

Default Nothing wrong

There’s nothing wrong about this as its natural for watchmen goby to change their colour into white. When the female watchmen gobys turn white color, that’s a good thing. They usually do this when they are paired. But I’ve heard from others where they say another possible reason is due to stress which makes their colour change.
