Whatcha got in there to fill a 65 gallon sump on a 150 gallon tank?
Lots a rock + my refugium... I guess I could probably create a longer bigger sump by using the glass off my old 150 gallon currently sitting on my front lawn.

The neighbours are starting to look at me funny

A good skimmer will be more beneficial than a refugium and IMO liverock in a sump just collects detritus and does more harm than good
