Default 150 watt Pheonix 14000k

just got these bulbs in the mail to replace the factory bulbs that came that came with my outer orbit fixture. MAN!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I now have a crisp white color in the tank. Very nice!!

the only problem i have... the supplemental actinics (4x96w PC 03s/blue) now make the water a little too blue for my liking. im thinking about changing them to full 03s all around. do you think this will make a difference? are there such thing as 96w 14000k PC bulbs?

I don't use my actinics except alone, when the MH are off, with 14000k bulbs (Phoenix or Aquaconnects).

I have played with many configurations, and bought several bulbs, both MH and compact PC

Just today I changed it again. I am now running Ushio 10K 2X250W, with 96W PC's 420nm/460nm (Blue Actinics with Royal Blue)

I must say this is the nicest config yet.... Water is bright with blue but not too blue, and I benefit by having 10K for growth.

This is what I would recommend.

If you are using 96W 4pin configuration PC's, and if you are ever in Cowtown, I can give you a good deal on 50/50's... They are only a few months old, but that is what I just pulled out... I was just running Phoenix 14K with them, before I just switched things today again.
