Default Help! New bubble coral stressed or...

Help! I just got this bubble coral last night. It looked great in the tank it came from and looked okay when I put it in my tank last night and this morning (7 hours later) I have this! Is this a typical stress response? Do I intervene or leave it alone? I may have damaged the base a bit last night trying to find a place for it in the tank. It is in minimal flow. How long should it take to destress and heal (if it does??)

I wouldn't worry its totally normal for corals to be stressed the first day. I normally acclimate my corals just like my fish and that seems to help but not sure its really necessary. in my experience bubbles do not like flow at all but I normally choose a spot for my coral and leave it as I find moving constantly just stresses it more. just my 2 cents though
