Default New tank light

So I am designing my new tank and have narrowed my lighting choice down to three.

Tank is 36" l x 30" w x 28" h and will be a mixed reef tank.

Light choices are:
  1. Single Radeon XR30w G4 Pro (Ecotech has promised this will provide enough coverage)
  2. Kessil AP700 w dispersion lenses
  3. 36" ATI 8 bulb Powermodule
Obviously there is a significant price difference with the ATI, and it is the one I have no experience with, and I am looking for advice from my fellow reefers as to suggestions.

guess it depends what you want to keep. i am facing a similar dilemma to you, but after reading and watching videos i cant move on from kessil, though their mounting options suck for a eurobrace, so most likely will be sticking with 3 x 360we pendants.

I prefer the pendants to the ap700 , you can mount the pendants so easy and you can spread them out , the p700 you are stuck with positioning. And are they not basically the same light minus the programming ?
The ATI might be your best bet as the 30 wide is pretty big area and the t5 will definitely give you the best coverage .

ap700 gives a cleaner finish. having multiple pendants is messy, however I assume if you connect all of them to a controller you would not need the link cable

but I agree with skimmer juice regarding the coverage of the t5.

Can't go wrong with the colour and shimmer of the Kessils.

I agree , I love my kessils , My favorite light combo I have used in 14 years
3x kessil a360we with 2 t5 bulbs (ati actinic+ / ati blue +)for supplement . Grows anything I want and super adjustable and my corals all love it . Here is the light I made but now I have 3 kessils in there now I should take an updated photo I also painted it purple . Takes a bit of work but well worth it

This hybrid setup is sweet! Looks good and I'm sure the corals love it.
