Default Lineatus Wrasse sex change?

I've had this guy for a little over 2 months now. The pics I've found online make me think that it's a female, but I also read that they can change sex if a female is alone. Over the past two weeks I've noticed a much darker blue band developing along it's underside at the front of it's dorsal fin, it's veination has also gotten a lot more vibrant. Maybe it's just that it's started eating the new life spectrum pellets as well as frozen stuff and flake algae food finally, but is this perhaps a sex change underway? Sorry for the pic, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the camera to expose properly without needing to ramp up the ISO or expose for too long to catch moving animals, he/she's an awful lot more vibrant in real life...
