Default Bulkhead sizes

Does anyone know if a half inch or 3/8 bulkhead is made?

Also what type of dremel bit is best for DIY drilling of a tank?

TIA.

you could use a diamond bit,but from what I've heard from others that tried, you'd have to be real careful.Maybe try J&L to see if they have the smaller bulkheads.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just checked and they list a 1/2" bulkhead. I'll check some supply lists at work tomorrow.

I guess instead of drilling it at home, I could take it to my cousins glass shop and drill it. I'm kind of lazy though and a 2 gallon tank isn't the easiest thing to transport around.

Maybe you could get a couple of guys with a truck to help out. Hate to drop something like that and be out $8! And remember, lift with your legs, not your back!!

Thanks for the safety tips.

I'll have to ask Marc if we can use his truck.
