Default IM nuvo 25

I think it's been 4-5 years without an aquarium.

Not looking for too much commitment so decided on a IM nuvo 25. I didn't like any of the stand options out there so last December I built one of 3/4" plywood.

Although I bought most of the equipment for this aquarium back in December, I knew I was moving in March, so it all sat in a box for months.

Felt good to unpack...

Since moving a few weeks ago, I have not had time to do much with this aquarium. This will be a pretty slow set up.

Light is a Hydra 52 HD. Not really necessary but I prefer the look of this light over the Hydra 26 HD.

I did not find a mounting arm that I liked so I bought some 2" aluminum flat bar and built one. Not sure the time spent bending and then polishing this thing was really worth it, if I had to do this again, I would have this made at a shop.

I bought this mounting bracket and sprayed it silver to at least partially match the aluminum.

And...this is how it looks at the moment. Wish I had more time to get this up and running.

Great choice on the 25g shallow. I wanted that one but the dimensions were just too big for where I wanted to put the tank.
