Default A newb question on epoxy coral

Is it possible to epoxy two different sps onto each other? or epoxy sps to lps coral? For example, epoxy/glue bird nest to a brain coral? Will it cause damage? I'm quite new with the hobby. Thanks.

Oh boy, you need to read a lot more into coral species before buying any, let alone gluing them!

The answer is no. They'll likely sting or kill each other. However some sps/lps that are the same species can Co exist together.

Gluing corals is to.make a new one is called graphing
This is not common with LPs for one reason ---- it almost never works softie graphing is some time successfull with certon species but sps graphing is most common
Here's the way it works as I understand you need to have two corals that are compatible. This almost always means the same species so two montis might work after they heal they just grow into each other

haha, of course I will be reading more. It's just an idea that come across my mind. Thought it might be creative as long as they don't harm each other. I don't have any coral experience except with green bird nest. I'm going to do a new ADA 48 gallon tank even though my old tank is only 9 months old, lol. The old tank is just too ugly.

wow, thanks for the reply guys. Seems quite difficult to do. Obviously I'm thinking way too far ahead. Maybe in the futher I will experiment glue same family of coral with different color variation together, that might work then.
