if bad, how would i erradicate the critters before throwing the rock in the tank?

I wouldn't necessarily say they are very bad. They can be beneficial detrivores. The bigger one are pretty gross though.

And heads up on an arrow crab, you might lose snails as well. They are like any crab, opportunistic... when worms run out, snails tend to go missing.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

Very wrong.

Bristle worms are harmless tonyour tank. They are scavengers and will help clean your tank.

Leave it.

I don't understand why every one thinks there bad. I remove large ones. But large to me is like pencil size. Other than that they come and go depending on wasted food in tank.

Please tell us why they are so bad
