Thumbs up Shout out for -=James=-

I bought his bowfront and not only was it dismantled and ready to go, with the rock in buckets of water, it was so clean i couldnt believe it. skimmer, sump, tank, and return were all pretty well spotless.

Pick up was fast and easy. this had nothing to with me other than showing up to get it. i couldnt have been happier..

Thanks Again.

Mike

well i just butchered the whole canopy and am fitting it with 2 lumimax 250w hqi pendands. downside is there is no room left for suplimental lighting. Also i will have to take the reflectors right out to change bulbs as its very tight inside now.

changed the overflow from a durso to a herbie. down sizde is the tank was tempered after drilling so return has to go over tank and thru the canopy.

Hey I was the original owner of that tank. I would love to see some updated picks of it.

Well if you need any help. I built that thing from scratch. You can see on the stand the original stainless was only a sticker I had a metal shop re do it with actual steel. I miss it. My wife does'nt....

the one question i have had is what kind of paint you used to seal the wood inside the canopy. i want to cut out the base alittle for the lighting. i would need to seal the wood so it doesnt swell.

in the build thread the cut is better expained

Hey,

I used Epoxy glue to seal the edges first. Then I used Varathane Polyurethane to paint it.
