We gotta sneak an update in before everyone make their new year resolutions I know we have been MIA from the forums for some time now but with Long going to university for nursing and my family business we had out hands full, but while we were away from the forums we managed to improve our growth and colouration on many of our pieces!!! We hope you guys enjoy this update and hope everyone have a fantastic NYE/NYD!!!

those colours look awesome nicely done.

i'm sure when you make any colour better they all look better but i'm curious about your bird of paradise in particular. mine is a nice purple with MAD extension but there is nearly no green. the green is only slightly evident under royal blues late at night. any tips?

Hey lastnight, we've always been able to keep the green skin on the BOP. Only special thing we do with the BOP is keep it under relatively low light. Couple times we have nuked our colony and the skin does become pale.
If you like the green undertone, try moving it to a lower light area and give it a few weeks to colour back up.

I have mine medium / high and it does great. However I noticed if you want it to have darker colors keep it lower.
