Default Biocube 29 filtering question

I'm currently running a biocube 29 with the bioballs and I'm looking to take them all out of the 2nd chamber. I'm putting in a couple tall sponges that take up half of the second chamber. On top of them will be some poly filter. On the right side of the 2nd chamber I will be dropping in some chemipure. I currently have the stock pump but I'm looking to upg to the mj900. I also have 2 power heads in the tank. Lastly, my heater in the 1st chamber.

In the tank is a diamond watchman goby with a few snails and hermits.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in this with a biocube? If so, was there anything that was changed along the way.

Can I take all of the bioballs out at once?

Lose bio balls as they r nitrate/phosphate factories. DIY or purchase a media basket for 2nd chamber. Top, floss. Middle, purigen/chemipure elite. Bottom, refugium/cheato. Look up bio cube mods on interweb!
