Default Stony Coral On Glass

Wondering if anyone has ever had a stony grow on to the glass of their tank & stay attached? I have a monti cap that has grown up to the glass a number of times but I usually end up breaking it off while cleaning around it with the mag float. I've finally managed to keep from breaking it this time 'round. It's been touching the glass for a few weeks now I think. I'll see how it goes I guess. Even if it does start spreading up on to the glass further, it will no doubt be a challenge to separate it from the main monster without dislodging from the glass also.

Funny you should ask/post, I have a red monti also growing on the back & side glass of my 80. Not touching it, would really like to see how far it goes....

Default Stony Coral On Glass

Bought a tank that had a huge rainbow month growing on the glass. Was tough to get it off.
Guess it started as a frag on the rack and just took over.
