How would someone accidentally ingested the little weights in the bottom of a broken thermometer?

I was wondering this also, I took a big mouth of siphon water last night and my first reaction was to violently purge my mouth not swallow the water .

That's odd....the hot water tank in the condo is probably 60 gals and those leak all the time.
