Great video! The fish numbers and diversity is amazing. What are those big striped fish?
Yup, I noticed the bubble-free dude as soon as I saw the crazy amount of metal he had on his back. We dove in South Africa with a bunch of guys using rebreathers but they were all fully enclosed in tidy kits.

Anyone notice the one guy not blowing any bubbles?

The weather was beautiful. We only got about 10 drops of rain the whole time. Right around the full moon there was some really rough waters. One of those days were went out to Verde Island and were doing negative entry because of the 4-6 ft waves. That was our second Verde trip. The first trip surprised us with some REALLY strong currents - a wall dive with a 10 knot current. It was exhilarating! I hit a down current that took me from 32 feet to 65 feet in just a few seconds. It was a heck of ride for only a 22 min dive.

Here's another video from my trip. The Alma Jane wreck just off Sabang Beach, Philippines.

I like the 2nd dive site and video more
Looks like fun times. Great diversity!

So overall how was your trip? Try any funky food? Meet any lady boys? Get a taste of Manila traffic?

Thanks for sharing

And I dont quite understand why people use re breathers when buddying up with open water divers. More comfortable breathing but seems like more hassle lugging that gear around than it's worth

Those were fun videos! Yep, the rebreather seemed excessive but I guess practice is practice
