I like (well love to be honest) movado. Not that common, can go with almost any event, classy and swiss! I am not sure whether you will find anything that fits your need but maybe have a look at it? The movado line is extremely expensive (to me that is) and starts around $500 for their museum series; I have an esq and don't like wearing it (afraid it will get scratched since it doesn't have sapphire glass unlike the non-eqs movados).
