I had a Hydor 1000, I had nothing but trouble with it, I didn't like the fact that I had to be a dentist just to pull the collector cup off. It was a pain in the butt. Do you have the original design or the 2nd gen? Dont take it the wrong way, it performed good, but ijust had some design flaws.

omfg, I hope that wasn't you it happened to. This reminds me of an incident I had back in high school that involved a big container of salsa and me trying to shake it as hard as I can in the kitchen. Let's just say salsa won and I had to take a shower.

Yes... yes that is haha.
The skimmer head fits reallllyy tightly into the neck, unless modified you need to use a great deal of force to remove it. I just used a little to much "great deal of force" and accidentally launched it half way across the room. |
