Who really has this disposable income I keep hearing about?? Seriously! Man, I gotta go dig me a deep hole and strike oil. I've got a shovel, how hard could it be? Anyone with me?! Let's go!

Yeah, rent's been going up. I still sponge off my mom, being in school.

no, I don't live in the basement

I do think that most reef aquarists are older becaue of the sheer $$ that is thrown into the hobby. Unless they're like me, and don't have much of a social life, don't smoke, don't drive, and therefore have extra money to blow on something (while not letting the girlfriend know how much I've blown on this hobby).

How come most of us are guys though? You'd think there'd be more women involved in this hobby. I see more women on the nano-reefers forums, but on Canreef, I'd have to say it's mainly guys.

yes its defiantely frustrating to find stuff locally now, and it sucks when you drive to the north end only to come back to the south end empty handed..

Where is ocean city now been looking for some peppermints for a while I was going to order out but did not want to do it for 4 or 5 of them the cost did not make sense.

This is a rather wierd thread, Its sorta hard to reply to. Ive written a couple things then end up deleating them because I cant figure out what im trying to say. I think for the amount of stores we have compared to the amount of reef keepers we have is good. I would like to see a store farther south but I give golds my compleate support because i like there ethics. There are enough stores to supprt the calgary reef community.

Everyone should have peppermints in a month or so. I know I'll have like 200+ or so. It's a seasonal item.
