Hey! I never "LEFT" the hobby, just doing fresh water now. Which is still listed as part of Canreef if I'm not mistaken.

I am also following this thread.
I am running a rsm 250 with six T5 bulbs!


Is there a difference in the T5 light manufacturers?

Seems like for the colours you guys are mentioning, they are the Korallen-Zucht brand?

I run agua medic 6 light T5 my original light setup made my tank feel dark which was 2 lagoon blue, 2 pink and 2 actinic but that setup brought out the colours

My new setup I went for a brighter look

2 midday
1 actinic
1 pink
2 lagoon blue

My tank is much brighter which I like and have good coral growth but it is a softie tank too. The downside is because my tank is so bright I no longer see the colours pop out
