There's also new software coming out.. I've been selected to try the Beta version. I'm going to look at it this weekend when I get a chance.. Looks like it "may " be Mac compatable.

The beta is still a little sketchy but has been working great on my mac. The only pita is you have to do a usb fw update on each light.

It is compatible with the IPAD, I control all 6 of mine from it.

I think of it as "savers continue to save" No hate at all, I think they're awesome looking lights, just cost twice as much as my equally awesome looking lights. If they were the same price, or close, I would have seriously considered them.

The biggest problem I see with Radions is every time I go into a store that sells them there's a stack of warranty returns sitting on the counter. It seems for the price the quality just isn't there as most Radion owners I know of have had some kind of issue with them. This combined with only 1 year warranty on majority of the guts makes me wonder what will happen to Radion owners in a couple years from now.
I agree to an extent and I am a Radion user. I hope Ecotech will have the bugs work out before putting the new ones on the shelf... In the last month I had to deal with with defects not once but twice... The replacement for the original defect was also a defect...

I am still a Radion supporter but having a one year warranty now concerns me.... especially spending $800+ per unit. That goes with any LED light systems.... Any potential savings on light bulb replacements and electrical expenses can be easily wiped out if the light stops working and there is no more warranty...

I don't think I need to upgrade to the new Radion at this time and without more information on the new lights and how they compare to the original radions with and without the new TIR lens I don't think I will be doing so anytime soon as I have just recently upgraded to the new lens kit and I quite satifisfied on the increased spread and brightness these lens put out...
