by breaking hope you mean breaking down as in cutting the silicone joints apart,

Nope, by breaking I mean breaking. ( Tape all the panes and crack them ) I can't get to any of the bottom seams, the tank is counter sunk into the counter top. I can't raise it out because the stand is wider then the tank by about a half inch and catches on the countertop. I can't remove the countertop because it is glued in across the front and at the two seams.

There would also be no leverage to try and lift the tank out, dropping the new one in should be easy as it's half the weight.

Good to see this build is slowly building back up... Good Luck getting the old tank out, sounds like you will need it..

You should sell tickets for the a crack at smashing some of that tank. Say 20.00 per swing. Or at least Video it for you tube.

Well the new tank has been ordered, should be here in the next month or two. I went with glass, the more I thought about acrylic the more it scared me. I know for a fact I would scratch it. I'll have to find a few people for help when the time comes, but it only has to be moved once.

Anyways, here is the final drawing for the tank.
