Can I throw a piece of cardboard under the tank to make up for the uneven corner?

if the stand is unlevel and its only about 1 /16th or so then yes use foam to make up the difference.

I'm kinda confused...

The tank rocks when it sits on the wood on the stand?... or

The stand rocks on the floor?
