New pump is now here for the closed loop today and have it almost plumbed in. Longer cords added to 2 set's of my light's so they reach the timer panel which is 95% complete. Will be finishing up everything tomorrow night and do a water test on the closed loop.
Will add pic's tomorrow.

Also, ensure that on the input side of the new pump it should be similar...valve, then union, then pump. You need to be able to remove the pump and OM4way completely from the system for maintenance. The way you currently have it plumbed you won't be able to do that once it is full of water.

So you've changed the orientation of the plumbing since the pictures? Otherwise only one of the outputs on the 4 way is set up right. IE union between the valve and 4-way. The way it is in the picture... you'll shut the valve > open the union > watch your tank empty.

Line on the left is good. All others are going to cause you problems. Again, unless you've changed the plumbing around already?

This is how the plumbing is now that it is complete with a working pump:
And this is the lighting command center, still have to put face plates on the timer's. The yellow power box on the left is going to be for my pumps and 4 way.

The wife told me I have to do this the right way this time, so I hope I am in the ballpark of doing it the right way. And if I am a little off she will never know the difference.

Now the plumbing looks good. Everything seems to be coming along nicely. Don't remember reading it anywhere, but are you also planning on using any power head supplementation ?

The plan is not to have to use any power heads at all. With the closed loop running at 3600 gph and the return pump at 1100 gph the flow will be a constant clockwise rotation or counter clockwise depending on what end of the tank you are looking through.
