not trying to hijack your thread but just wanted to let you know that I ran an airline to outside from my skimmer inlet. The results on my PH are great it is up 0.2 from before consistantly. The one thing to watch out is the effect it has on tank temperature in the winter. Even here in mild Vancouver I had to add an extra 400 Watt heater to keep the temperature up. In Calgary I would imagine a more dramatic result! Good luck on your sale, it looks like a nice unit.

Thanks for the note! I'll watch that for sure come winter. I do have an 800 watt titanium heater for a 100 gallon system, so it should be able to keep up. But i'll watch for changes when the temp drops for sure.
