Isn't this the same tank that you posted last week on the Facebook group that had a LEAK on the bottom? You also deleted that Facebook post prior to posting this tank for sale, right? |

yes this is the one....
what a sad day that was, Am just so happy that I caught it in time and the support from the community was so nice as i well needed it that night. Cant believe it tho still,( I guess its is some what common that it can happen) I found the leak in the silicon at the bottom and resealed that part, but as I STATED you should RESEAL it again to be safe!!!!!!! $20bucks and some time and you will have a good tank again that was over $1500 new I just don't want to start it up again Save some time in my life now lol And yes I took it off as I don't like receiving threats over the phone and on messenger.... Thank you everyone and happy Reefing. |

Fair enough. Thanks for coming clean about it. But just to be clear, you had left out the fact that the tank was leaking and resealed which IMO is something a seller should be upfront about. You know what happens when tanks leak and you experienced that first hand. Omitting that sort of information is prioritizing the sale over informing the seller, whether you call that misinterpreting the tank or not because you also EXPLICITLY said "it has been an amazing tank" and that "you're just upgrading." Instead, all you suggest is resealing it just to be safe in order to shift liability and bank on the fact that the buyer will actually reseal it. Lastly, sorry to hear about the threats you were receiving. But you appeared to repost the tank a couple hours ago. What changed? Because it seems that you deleted a post about a tank leak, posted a for sale tank thread omitting a leak, and then reposted the thread now that the leak (allegedly fixed) is made public information. Originally, I wasn't sure that this was the same tank so I wanted to err on the caution and be tentative, but the way that you conduct sales raises red flags that I don't think any other reefer would give you a pass on. Happy reefing and GLWS. |
