Default Philippine photos

Just back from our place on Guimaras. All these pictures were taken while snorkeling within about 75m of the front door of the house.

no problem Canreefers stay for free.

Other thing about the place is it's about a kilometer away from Taklong Island marine sanctuary.

Where is Guimaras? There's an airfare sale right now for $800 return. 🤓

I'm jealous Kabayan. I went home last July in Mindoro and checked out the nearest reef about 250 meters away from our door step, I was disappointed as all I saw are coral skeleton remnants. One of the fisherman that I talked to told me that it was plagued by Crown Of Thorn Starfish and the non stop irresponsible commercial fishing.

Philippines is beautiful and the people are so friendly. I dove in Puerto Galera last year. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Would love to go to Palawan Island next.

Thanks for sharing!

Been out to Palawan a few times and it's a great place. Playing in the breakers at Sabang Beach, island hoping at El Nido but my go back to place would be Coron with the coral gardens and wreck diving.

Go soon though as finding the world and Filipinos themselves are discovering the Philippines as a tourist destination so all these hidden gems are starting to get busy.

And offer is serious, all I would be looking for is you give something to the caretaker to clean the sheets when leaving.

I'll have to check out Coron. I really enjoyed Verde Island when we were at Puerto Galera, but really, you just can't go wrong there.

Yeah, the problem with Philippines is that it is inexpensive once you get there plus it's beautiful and the locals are great, so people are starting to catch onto that.
