Breeding Perculas
Well my percs finally got down to biz and laid some eggs ... Jonathon and Tony came by in time to watch the event

Yea Alan .. we schemed and planned a get together that excluded all you NORTH folk Muahahahaha
 Thanks Wendell ... I have only had them a short while ... got them from Kim actually Hey Kim ... I dont use RO/DI  ... did you ? ... Oh well ... no matter as they seem to like the water just fine no matter where it came from I guess ... they have really settled in fine and dont stray more than a foot from their BTA except to chase away the Ocellaris pair Cheers

My ocellaris always had their eggs eaten quite quickly.
The maroons must stay up all night to protect them, I swear.  Every batch hatches before they are munched...  I removed the egg rock once just before hatching and the brittlestars and bristleworms were all over them - gone by morning....  I doubt I want to raise them, enough work around here as it is......

Well it's been a couple days and there are still a few dozen eggs still there
... do they eat their own eggs ? ... Oh well ... more food for the tank I guessCheers

ok I have a question about percs and such.. if you get two from the same clutch.. will they be able to breed fine? I mean with out genetic defects as I know they are able to change sex as nessasary so does this prevent inbreeding problems?
