Hopefully you will clean the tank first. I think if you have ever used copper on it while
fresh you would have to clean it extra well. I switched to salt from fresh on my 33 gal. but I used it for curing rock and eventually after more cleaning as a Q.T. tank when I bought more fish. And add new water / declorinated of course. How big is your tank?
