Hi All,

I have noticed that my Foxface has a translucent film covering most of his body which sloughs off in Twoonie-sized sheets. These sheets float around and are eaten or otherwise disappear. This happens every couple of days. Any idea what this is?

What kind of illness? I have spoken to another Canreefer who has a Foxface and he says his does the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this?

My foxface doesn't do that.

We had a Foxface for about 6 months & it did that regularly. Was never sick. Started picking at the zoos though so found it a new home.

I don't see the film all the time. Just when it comes off every couple of days. He usually turns around and eats it, but then, he eats everything.
