Default Lights on at night vs. Day

My city just started using smart meters and the cheapest time to use electricity will be at night after 7pm.

I was wondering if there would be any impact to the tank during the day for the room the tank is in won't get pitch black during the day but it's not sunny either. I am only home in the evenings so it would be nice to see it all lite up when i am home. Also the tanks temp would probably be more stable for it's cooler at night and my lights can raise the water temp 3 degrees when all 8 bulbs are running.

Tank will have sps but right now has clowns, cardinals, wrasse, tailspot, chromis and some different shrimp, anemone, favia and some zoos.

Thanks
Vince

i know quite a few people who work most of the day and have their lights come on around 2-4pm and have them turn off around midnight. they run/look great, plus you would get some more viewing time.

As long as it's consistent it shouldn't matter too much for the time frame you use. Personally my tank is near a bay window and gets a bit of residual light from the outside even when the tank lights are off and I haven't had any livestock issues.
